The Flotation Vest (FV) is a highly specialized protective vest designed for operations in aquatic environments. It provides total front, back, and side ballistic protection with a positive flotation system, eliminating the need for an inflatable collar. Designed to accept 10x12 rigid armor plates, this model ensures robust protection, supplemented by a 1000-denier water-repelled Nylon outer cover. The vest includes reinforced drain holes, a heavy-duty drag strap, and four fixed utility pockets for added functionality. Comfort and fit are catered to by the 2.00” hook-and-loop adjustable shoulder straps, side adjustment straps, and adjustable shoulders. It also features a Nylon zipper front with 3.00” overlap protection and two 1” quick-release zipper security buckles. The Flotation Vest offers extensive coverage, including a total 3.00” overlap front, back, and side, and high pressure tested waterproof ballistics. Multiple pockets and panels provide ample storage, and the model is compatible with NIJ Level II and IIIA panels for increased protection. The vest also offers the option of adding Level III and IV hard armor plates.
